another post about Jen

October 22nd, 2008 · No Comments

People often use the line, “my wife is the love of my life.” Or “I found the love of my life.”  I don’t feel that way about Jen. I think that sells short my feelings for her. Jennifer is the love that is my life.

If I were to say that Jen is “the love of my life.” Would imply that she is an aspect of my life, when she is much more than that. Jennifer’s love is the foundation for everything I am. I am a good husband, because of her love, I am a good man, because of her love. Despite the pain, I get up out of bed a god to work because of her love. Every post, short story, newsletter, article, poem, and all my writings are down on the foundation of her love.

I know that without her love I would be nothing, more importantly, I wouldn’t want to be anything. I always new that I would fall in love on day, but what exactly that meant was unknown to me at the time. I could have never imagined something this incredible.  I never thought that this life would ever be this good.

Jen is smart and buitiful, there is not thing she cannot do when her mind is focused on it. She is one of the smartest people I know. She is also a complete nutt ball. People think that I am the nutty one in the relationship, and I am useually the nuttiest person in the room. This is true for all the times Jen isn’t in the room with me. Jen just hides it better than I do.

That is one of many treasures in her chest of love. The beast a man can  is to be loved by the love that is there lifeThe fact that out of all the people in this world, Jennifer Lacsaman chose to spend her life with me, to give up her name and take my name, and to join me in front of our family, friends, and in the presence of God vow to be my wife, through thick and thin, and until my last breath, her devotion to me is the greatest honor I have ever known. And I pledge my life to hers, without conditions, without reservation, for I know my primary role in this world is to be a good husband to Jennifer Clark.

I am so lucky.
