Perhaps time can be viewed as an outward "pressure" exerted by "energy"? As such time is infact what we (3 diamentional creatures) perceive as "space".Gravity(mass?) being the opposite - and has the effect of reducing time (and therefore space).Gravity (it is postulated) maybe a property of s subatomic particle and "dark" energy/matter is a combination of particles that omit this particular type.Whether there is a particle whose energy (proprty) is space (time) I have no idea -but perhaps possible? (we are in he relms of string theory here).
So if you could build an object that was constructed of particles that did not contain the "mass/gravity" property in theory you would be free of the "drag" that limits us to light speed.Perhaps there are such particles (zooming about way above the speed of light and therefore free of the time limit also. However since it would have no mass how would we (mass based organisms) ever observe them?
